Art and Crafts Exhibition

Wednesday 19th until Saturday 29th July

Between the Great Wars, the Scottish Colourists “discovered” Crail and its picturesque harbour. Ever since then, this little fishing community has attracted budding and professional artists ready to capture the atmosphere of the place in their chosen medium.

And so it continues. Every year, Crail Festival holds its Art and Crafts Exhibition in the Town Hall in July, when local artists, professional and amateur alike exhibit together in celebration of their particular art, be it fine or applied. On a visit, you will see the products of their chosen area of activity in painting, ceramics, textiles and more.

Many items are for sale, so bring your cheque books. A percentage of sale proceeds will go to Crail Festival Society, a worthy charity.

Where’s Wally Treasure Hunt

During the Crail Festival, 19th to 29th July 2017, you should keep a sharp look-out for all the Wally figures which will  be popping up in windows all over the village.

Each Wally will have a number attached to it.

Children of 12 years and under are invited to find as many Wallys as they can and write the name of the shop or business on the corresponding line on the entry form.

Entry forms can be purchased from the Festival Booking Office throughout the Festival.

Entry Forms (fully completed or not) should be handed into the Booking Office by 12 noon on Friday 28th July.

There will be a small prize for each entry form returned. GOOD WALLY HUNTING!

Entry Forms 20p from the Festival Booking Office throughout the Festival.
